Therapist

I am a Social Work Psychotherapist providing life coaching and counseling services. I graduated from CUNY Queens College with honors completing my bachelor's degree in Sociology and Anthropology. After receiving my bachelor's degree I worked for NYC Children Services as a Child Protective Specialist for several years. This is where I worked directly with families, familiarizing myself with preventive services, law enforcement, and the family court judiciary system.

More about Me:

I received my Master’s Degree in Social Welfare at SUNY Stony Brook University. After acquiring my Social Work degree and obtaining my license I worked with the NYC Department of Health as a Social Worker serving the non-violent forensic population who suffered from a variety of mental health illnesses. Moreover, I returned to NYC Children Services to work as a Child Family Specialist working with children and families in crisis.

During my post Grad career journey, I worked exclusively for a Hospital-based Mental Health Clinic as a psychotherapist. In addition, working in an inpatient and outpatient substance use program. From my diverse blend of experience and professional guidance, I have been able to specialize in working with Individuals facing low motivation, depression, anxiety, addiction, and also less severe forms of psychosis. I also specialize with adolescents and families addressing oppositional defiance, parent guidance, family and couples counseling.
